To receive notifications in Slack, you need to create a Zabbix user and add Media with the Slack type. The Send to field can contain several variants of values: Channel name in #channelname format User.

To to this, you have to create un new Incoming WebHook in your slack Team.
- Click on your team, select App and Integration.

Next Go to your Zabbix Server.
Edit the /etc/zabbix/zabbix_server.conf file to specify a correct Path for AlertScriptPath, for example :
Then go to the /usr/share/zabbix/alertscripts directory and create a tiny shell script post_to_slack.sh :
Then Go to The Zabbix IHM and add a new media type of type script, with the script name you created before (Administration > Media Types > create media type)
Add 2 parameters for your script :
- The first one is the Slack Webhook URL you generated in step 1,
- the second is the Alert Subject.
Then, Configure a Zabbix Actions (Configuration > Actions) to send a message to slack media for the admin user.

Set a correct Subject message to get all the information you need. For example :
Finaly edit the Zabbix admin user and add a new media of type slack.

PS : You can configure multiple slack media type to send alerts to multiple webhooks, according to the Host group.

Description
We set up a Slack Media Type for Trigger alerts in Zabbix.
Create or join a Workspace
Create a Channel
Create an App.
Add the OAuth Scope chat:write
Press the button Install App to Workspace
Allow your APP to access your workspace so that it can send messages to your new Channel.
Copy the Bot User OAuth Access Token and place it in the Zabbix Slack Media Type Bot Token field.
Enable the Slack Media Type
Add the Problem and Problem Recovery templates to the Slack Media Type
In Slack, go to your Channel, and press the Add an app option, and Add your APP.
Add a global Macro for {$ZABBIX_URL} and set its value to the full url of your Zabbix system. This will be used in the Slack messages to create a link to the problem information contained in the Zabbix UI.
Add the Slack Media Type to your user, and select which severity to receive alerts for.
Ensure the Trigger Action for Report problems to Zabbix administrators is enabled.

- Recovery messages from Zabbix will update the initial Problem message

Troubleshooting
If you get an error 'no message for media type', then go into the Media type settings, and then its Message Templates tab and then add the Problem and Problem Recovery templates if they don't already exist, and then update.

If you get an error 'not in channel' when sending the alert, you need to add your Slack APP to your Channel using the Slack UI.
